Glass is the "brittle liquid", the consensus among many chemists being that glass is a supercooled liquid(at room temprature). This idea is based around the fact that glass molecules exist in a random arrangement, like other liquids. In kiln-forming glass I like to accentuate the fluid nature of the medium by draping the glass in a manner that will allow it to flow(like water), or fold(like fabric).
